Royal College of Physicians - Sunway - Cambridge Medical Seminars

Under the aegis of an existing collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Sunway Medical,  the Royal College of Physicians (London) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Sunway to conduct a series of continuing professional development courses in Malaysia with an associated introductory PACES course. Cambridge Medical Seminars represented Cambridge as the hosts of this bi-annual event aimed at specialists and general practitioners in Malaysia as well as medical students and postgraduate clinical students.

The meetings featured along the course we conduct in Cambridge since 2006, but with the added benefits of the expertise and guidance of the RCP and with more varied content including breakout sessions. An introductory PACES course was held to guide local candidates on this examination. 

The meetings commenced in April 2019 and continued until 2022. They were hosted, managed and funded by the Jeffrey Cheah foundation and the Sunway Education Group led by Tan Sri Dr Jeffrey Cheah AO. During the pandemic, the meetings went to a webinar format - a repository of these is now held on RCP Player and our website.
